Oklahoma built one of the most accessible medical marijuana markets in the nation after voters approved it in 2018, with thousands of licensed dispensaries serving hundreds of thousands of patients across the state. Oklahoma's cannabis community is large, committed, and increasingly frustrated by federal barriers that prevent legitimate businesses from operating like any other industry. Federal legalization would validate Oklahoma's patient community and create the legal certainty that Oklahoma cannabis businesses urgently need.
