It's Time to Federally Legalize Marijuana in Washington

Washington State was one of the first two states in the nation to legalize recreational marijuana in 2012, and has spent over a decade building one of the most mature and well-regulated cannabis markets in the world. Washington's cannabis industry generates hundreds of millions in annual tax revenue for public health, education, and substance abuse prevention. Federal legalization would finally bring federal law into alignment with what Washington voters chose more than a decade ago.
